Harborview Parent Teacher Association

PTA meets the first Thursday of every month from 5 - 6pm at the Harborview Library. Please join us, 

Your Support Matters!

The Harborview Parent Teacher Association is:

1. A forum for parents and teachers to meet and exchange ideas.

2. A place to discuss and be polled on upcoming issues affecting the school.

3. A place to get information on topics of concern.

Membership

Any parent, teacher, staff member, or interested person is welcome to attend the monthly meetings, and we encourage you to become involved. PTA board members are elected in the spring.

We Fund

PTA fosters school spirit by organizing the Multicultural Potluck, sponsoring Teacher Appreciation Day, and arranging other all-school activities.

Parents Make A Difference

Too busy to attend PTA meetings? There are many other ways that parents help Harborview School.

A & P Receipts:

Save your receipts and drop the box at the front office collection box, our school will get 1% of sales from food items.

Box Tops for Education:

Drop your box tops at the front office collection box to help purchase library books, fund activities, and support classrooms.

Friday Fun Night:

One Friday a month, two Harborview classrooms team together to hold an evening of games, crafts, computer time, and refreshments. Admission is $10 per child for one session of play. Send your child to school for the evening, or volunteer to help lead Friday activities. Children 5 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent.

Scholastic Books:

Order books for your children when they bring a scholastic order form home. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to your child’s classroom to help with books and supplies. Or shop at one of the two scholastic book fairs and help to support the library.

Volunteer:

Parents are welcome on the playground, in the lunchroom, in the classroom, and at special events. Give some of your time to support the school. Ask your child’s teacher how you can participate.
